3. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (Vercel Inc.). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of our website).
4. Collection and storage of personal data
a) When visiting our website
When you visit our website, temporary information transmitted by your browser is collected automatically. These so-called server log files contain:
- browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
This data cannot be assigned to specific persons and serves only for statistical evaluation to improve our offering.
b) When contacting us
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, by email or by phone, your details (e. g. name, email address, company, message) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data to third parties. The service Resend (Resend, Inc.) is used for the technical delivery of messages from the contact form.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
5. Cookies and tracking
As a matter of principle, we do not use technically unnecessary cookies, with the exception of the marketing cookies via Google Ads described below.
a) Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to manage marketing tracking tags (Google Ads) on our website. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage so-called website tags centrally via an interface and integrate them into our website. Google Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies, but merely records the user's IP address and processes it anonymously for statistical purposes.
Further information on Google Tag Manager can be found in Google's terms of use.
b) Google Ads
We use Google Ads to draw attention to our services. For this purpose we use conversion tracking. When you reach our website via a Google ad, a cookie is set by Google Ads. This cookie expires after 30 days and does not serve to identify you personally.
The information collected by the cookie is used to create conversion statistics for us. We only learn the total number of users who clicked on our Google ad and were forwarded to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.
Further information on the use of data by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.
c) Social media
We do not use any social media plugins or widgets on our website. There is only an external link to our LinkedIn profile. For data processing by LinkedIn, we refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy.
6. Content management system
The editorial content of this website is managed with the headless CMS Sanity (Sanity AS). When you simply visit the website, no personal data is transmitted to Sanity beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the content.
7. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR), unless statutory retention obligations prevent this
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability in a structured, commonly used format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the supervisory authority of the federal state in which we are based.
9. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
10. Storage period
Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, unless further storage is required to fulfil statutory retention obligations. The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose of the data storage no longer applies.
11. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to reflect changes to our services in the privacy policy. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
